Description

Ultra-agile, high-tech all-mountain racer with outstanding versatility.

If you’re looking for the highest level of sportiness and maximum radius variability, the Deacon 72 Master is the ski for you. The brand new Deacon 72 Master with tip and tail rocker offers riders a new dimension of direct steering and super-fast tip response. With an ash wood core, usually reserved for our World Cup models, full Titanal, a 3D.Glass construction and even a tailored carbon tip, the Deacon Master series is packed with the expertise offered by Völkl engineers. The tailored carbon tip enables direct and reliable tip response. By slightly modifying the angles and placement of the carbon fibres for each ski length, the various models can offer a highly sporty and aggressive yet effortless riding style. The Deacon 72 Master is available in lengths of 173 cm and 178 cm and features a highly competitive but at the same time playful design concept, which allows you to ski super precise through medium turns.

TECHNOLOGY

3D Glass

Compared to classic glass constructions the three-dimensional and multiple-folded glass layers in the tip and in the tail area result in an increased edge grip and a more vivid rebound behavior in turns.

World Cup Ash Woodcore

The high-quality core made of solid ash, which extends over the entire length of the ski, is a technical highlight that has great impact on the skiing characteristics. The particularly elastic hardwood is being used in our racing skis for World Cup athletes and even the Master models and acts as an energy accumulator: while the ski flexes when initiating the turn, the fibers stretch and absorb the tension energy. At the exit of the turn, this accumulated energy is released, giving the ski a lively feel. Due to the specific suppleness of ash wood, the ski also adapts optimally to the surface. This results in the greatest possible stability and reliability, which makes the ski particularly smooth.
