The Hero Master ST is designed by World Cup racing engineers, for those who want the most technical top-level WC construction imaginable. The Master ST boasts the same innovative construction as our WC FIS SL skis, in a fun SL turn shape. New this season we add three short turn sizes with additonal sidecuts (R: 13m, 12m, & 11m) added to the range. The sidecut is matched by size, to choose the weapon of your choice for fast early morning maximum angle and G force short turn carve sessions. Prop Tech Technology in the forebody brings precision, balance and enhances transfer of power to optimize grip and stability.

The Rossignol Hero Master ST R22 for the experts.

The 2023 Rossignol Hero Master ST is one of those skis that makes a whole lot of sense, but not for a ton of skiers. In its own lane, though, it makes some of the cleanest and roundest turns on the planet. With more of a race-room style of build than the Hero Elite versions, but with a turnier shape, the Hero Master ST starts with an Ash wood core in the longer 165, or a beech core in the 150 and 156, so it's interesting how they treat the FIS SL length a bit differently than the shorter ones. In that 165, the skis and their 66-mm waist width produce a 13-meter turn radius, so these things are built and shaped to turn and carve just like their World Cup counterparts, but more for a Masters racer or an expert looking to have that race-room feel.

Oversized Sidecut

The Oversized sidecut combines the very deep carving ski sidecut with current underfoot widths. The width at tip and tail delivers effective grip as well as power and precision. The underfoot width gives increased control and better hold in turns. Oversize sidecuts offer maneuverability, power and control

Rectangular Sidewall

The Rectangular Sidewall construction offers a combination of materials as well as straight edges present over the entire length of the ski to optimize the skier's grip, balance and power.
