The water resistant Tyono™ 20 face fabric is soft, breathable and durable, stretch side panels improve ventilation and freedom, and the insulated StormHood™ adds warmth.
Synthetic Insulation Man-made insulation with quick dry times, durability and retains warmth when damp. Arc'teryx uses a range of synthetic and natural textiles in our products. We are actively working to understand the link between specific textiles and microplastic pollution.
Dope Dye Adding pigment at the polymer level which saves water, reduces CO2 emissions and increases fabric colour fastness. We are actively working with a number of our key strategic manufacturing partners and material suppliers to support implementation of renewable energy and energy efficiency measures.
DWR (Durable Water Repellent) Finish We use durable water repellency (DWR) treatments to ensure that products have high performing fabrics that stay dry even in adverse conditions. We will continue our active efforts to find a new solution that balances our desire to discontinue PFC use and commitment to product performance and durability.
